Only a few years ago, Rogers High School had the fifth lowest graduation rate in the state, but a new Rhode Island Department of Education report shows a remarkable turn around: It had the highest percentage of graduating seniors in Newport County in 2016.
Rogers Class of 2016 had a 91 percent graduation rate — higher than Middletown High School’s 90 percent and Portsmouth’s 89 percent. Tiverton High School had a 90 percent graduation rate. Way to go students and faculty!!
